Fish out of the old changing rooms facing the docks. Lug and a strip of mack on a size 4 or 2 hook. Day or night with an incoming tide you will pick them up. They are normally always around so you should catch one easily enough.

Was looking at the wooden bridge and further down to the lifegaurd hut on google earth and wondering would you catch anything fishing out the right hand side of the pathway from the hut to the monument,thanks..

I've done a fair bit of fishing around off the Bull wall. Have caught small pouting, flounder and lots of mackerel (during the summer & autumn) fishing off the bathing shelters between the lifeguard hut and the monument (on the side facing the Dublin Port).

Off the wooden bridge can be good for mackerel on summer evenings and nights. I've heard a couple of stories about bass being caught from the bridge, but don't think it happens frequently.
