Bass fishing in Dublin

Hi, i live in dublin and im wondering if anyone knows any good spots for bass fishing in dublin. I was thinking Dollymount beach or Donabate beach. are they worth a visit and if not does anyone know any good spots in dublin. Any info is good.

You could be waiting a while for replies. Closely guarded secrets etc. Have a look through the previous threads for some pointers. You could also give Bray harbour a go. Rasher on a length of twine over the side of the pier......oh wait...thats crabs...silly me. :roll:

any sandy beaches around dublin can produce bass but not at this time of the year unless you hook one thats lost :lol: a small to med surf will see fish in feeding it will be around march or april before they return in numbers,thats if it warms up enough ,constant temp of 11 deg or over for a few weeks will see the water come alive with enough food to tempt them back :wink:

as roger says most of the beach's willl have bass during the summer once theres a bit of a surf
