hey lads just trying to find out is ther any fishing in brittas bay lately any cod been caught or should i head to wexford

head to wexford :roll: brittas is dire this time of year ,annyrielly can be ok if its been blowing easterly but futher down is a better bet :wink:

like all beaches if the conditions are right and you fish the right part of the tide it can be good ,for some reason the fish turn up for one hour then move on, which hour only the fish know!!,it is a long beach mind you :lol:

What sort of fish do you get there, codling?

flounders,dab,smoothhound (big ones),whiting,codling,bass,weever,pup tope,plaice and coalies with one or two turbot and ray on calm nights,if you got a palm sized flounder at the moment you would be doing well ,its best from april to oct :wink:

Rogers right, Brittas can be great , under the right conditions, caught some real nice smoothhound and bass there this year.
