Live Ragworm in Cork???

Can anyone tell me where I can purchase live ragworm in Cork. I am based near the city centre on the Kinsale side. I read a similar post a while ago that recommended Murrays, I tried Murrays in town and the hire shop in Kinsale to no avail. Failing that, can anyone tell me where I can dig it? I do a bit of fishing in Garretstown from time to time if that helps.

Thanks.

Pete.

Hi

Im just back from a fishing trip to Cork, the best place I found was at Aghada
pier in east cork, its alive with them and good lug as well. Dig where the shingle meets the mud, in an hour, two of us dug enough rag and lug for a couple of days fishing. While your there take a trip down to Inch and try the beach, for some excellent fishing for ray and plaice (needs to be a bit windy to get the surf up). There's also a lane to the right which brings you down to a rocky penninsula which is a good bass mark for the Rapala j13's
Or Ballbriggan strand at night for some good codling fishing using lug.

hope this helps

Thanks a mill for the info. Will head there tomorrow aft or sun morning depending on tides. Got a buddy of mine taking me to some of his secret marks in West Cork on sunday afternoon and rag is apparently the way to go. Plus the fact Im fed up being creamed in comps by lads "on the rag"! Do you have to dig deep for them or are they easy enough to get? I have horrible memories of having to go down over 2 feet on a certain beach in Donegal looking for lug once that put me off for a long time.
