Are the Fish Back??

Hello people last time i posted here i was complaining about there not being a fish to catch anywhere, i havnt gone fishing for a couple of weeks now, and i was just wondering if anyone knows are the Mackerel in? is anyone catching fish as i might go fishing on the weekend, thanks for your reply's.....if any :wink:

hey bass catcher, i noticed you're based in tipp, does that mean you're heading to clare to do a bit?a mate of my dad arrived on our door the other night with 150 mackeral from dunlickey.....don't ask me why people do that sort of thing! but at least it shows the mackeral are around. but they just seem very finicky, one day they're there and 24 hours late,GONE! totally unreliable. also a little bird told me that there are a few bass to be had in poulnasherry bay at the moment........as for me, i'm praying for 3 days of proper rain to get the silver tourists moving, i'm determined to put one on the bank before the seasons out.
the boats around kilkee are getting good pollack and that at the moment, but reports from the shore are sketchy at best.
problem is you'll have your heart broken this weekend if you head out looking for mackeral, every moron in the country is going to be belting 6oz leads off dunlickey and the bridges.

well i went fishing the weeknd and caught about 60 mackerel, a few doggys on bait but im going to do a bit of night fishing this weeknd to hopefully catch some of the bigger fish, and frodo i dont go as far as clare but would like to try it sometime i hear its very good , i stick to places like Ardmore, Helvick, Tramore, Clonea ect...
