Cause Cork is just a great place.... you know yourself.... like everybody else does...... Cork people cannot have an inferiority complex as there is no one better.
A little off topic and not off topic, but where is half way angling? I know where the pub is the one just opposite the road from ballygarvan So from there where do I go? I must get out there some evening does he stock much in the way of beach rods?

directions for halfway angling......from the bishopstown roundabout (n25) take the bandon/innishannon exit passing dunnes stores on your left, continue for 3 or 4 miles until you reach a roundabout.take the third exit and drive into halfway village, the tackle shop is about 300 mtrs on your right,at the end of a row of new houses....it has a small sign on the entrance to a driveway....dan has a great supply of rods, tackle and bait...and lots of good advice..

on a seperate note a few weeks ago I was heading to Cork with Tony and Drummer and we were stopped by the cops and they did ask us why we were going to Cork fishing? They were genuinley surprised when they opened the back of the van to find fishing gear, 2 dodgy looking lads and me in a van
