Penn Affinity

Hi,
I am mulling over the idea of buying a multi tip rod for scratching in close with a fixed spool and am thinking of the Affinity twin tip.
Anyone got any recommendations or opinions on this or similar type rods....was also looking at the Grauvell Teknos 420 (multi tip) 2-4oz.

Thanks,

Hi Eric, I'm no expert (one of only a few ) but I have the twin tip and think she is a super rod. I don't have a massive experience with different brands so can't really compare it to another soft tip. But as a stand alone testament it is a great rod for scratching about with. The soft tip registers any bite and you get a good feel of the fish your reeling in. I've only had it since March so can't comment on it's durability yet though. I've got great use and craic out of it though and would recommend it on those terms.

Had my Affinity a year now.... that says a lot as I usually have rods sold after a few months! lol
