I worked for 4 years at seacat, and it is a saltwater lough up to the lagan look out so legal. Only issue would be private property access. Ron from the forum( read meets for north boys) Works for the lagan rescue at the lagan look out call in ask him for advice on were to fish.
they are mull and are great sport on light gear. Use norm mull technique and bread flake all they will take , spook them and they will go. Try find to runs were they are fishing bait them with bread so if you scare one buch move to other feed and return to other one later when they return and so on good luck. Fish with someone in that area still abit rough due to clue heads and drunks.

plenty of mullet around the weir at the min though as pooks said fish with a couple of mates as theres been a incidents , as for fishing beside the oddessey you can fish of the pontoon inside the basin were the work boats tie up ,at least down there your sort of out of sight . loads of small flounder in around there though fishing for them could be hard due to the amount of crabs, there must be big fish in amongest them
you can fish up into the river behind central train station for the mullet as well , i seen a few being caught there some pretty big ones to well over specimen weight .
