I have seen Wels Catfish being caught on salmon in Austria and i know they use it for zander and pike sometimes too the colour and oil is the main reason i was told anyway

i have seen it work but that's all i know about it.

salmon is too tasty for bait and the price of it, it wouldnt be the cheapest fish too buy. so i think thats why no1 uses it for bait.
