Baumann's in Dungarvan is reasonably good for tackle and, on most weeks, can supply you with frozen crab, mackerel, sandeel and (sometimes) lug. Thing to remember is that Baumann's is actually a jewellers with a section at the back for fishing, so don't let the prices in the window give you a fright :) If old Baumann himself is there, he's usually fairly good for a bit of info about what's being caught where.

If you want fresh crab, send a pm to the ever-reliable Bhoy32 on this site--he'll sort you out. Good digging on lots of local beaches at the minute too. Let us know how you get on ...

Contact Cortaz from the site. He is the bass expert in the area and will also supply you with the best of fresh bait. He might even bring you to some spots where you are likely to catch fish.
