Hi All,
I was going to try Wexford for smoothies on Saturday night (assuming work doesn't get in the way) and was planning on giving Tinnebearna a go. Does anyone know how its fishing or if anywhere in the vicinity would be a better option? Any PMs greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Pete

There have been a few decent ones taken there last weekend. Keep one rod in close as the bass are in too.

you forgot squid

there is also someone on here that uses lug to target them down that part of the coast.

I'm told squid is a good bait off the boat, but dont hear too often of lads using it from the shore here.
Never had much luck on lug myself, with the exception of the odd pup

clones, toberpatrick, courtown, ballymoney are all producing hounds at the mo,
just have a look at some of the reports

fished Tinnebearna last Friday night and had a few hounds off it. they turned up the second it got dark and were in pretty close to the shore maybe 30 - 40 yards out. one of my mates fished it on saturday night and had nothing only a few flat fish he said the strand was full of weed as well.
you might be better of trying one of the strands that Brock mentioned above.
