Hi scooby,

on derrynane beach has a river on the far end of it which could be good for bass and white trout the beach itself is supposed to be good for bass but beware that it has some weever fish present so be careful handling them

I would try float fishing from the rocks below the main road of carrols cove I have see seals there in the past. it seems to be deep enough.

I'll pm you a mark that i used fish

theres this pier

on the exit to derrynane harbour

Drive back through caherdaniel and back up the waterville road there is windy road down to the pier there has to be fish there.

Never fished Caherdaniel/Derrynane before - it doesnt have the same appeal to anglers that Tralee (for example) or Dingle has - but there must be some fish there - the beach behind Daniel O'Connell's house is beautuful with some lovely rocky marks that would surely fish well with a float for some wrasse or pollack at dawn/dusk I'd say...
