keel beach is good for flatties,seatrout,pollock,ray... pollock habour is good for conger, mackerel, pollock coalies,rockling,...anywhere along the atlantic drive where its safe(mostly rock marks) good for pollock, wrasse, coalies, conger, mackerel.doogort good for wrasse, flatties, pollock, mackerel, coalies, rockling, seatrout.darby point good for ,pollock, mackerel, seatrout, doggies huss, across on the sand near currane, ray, huss, doggies, flatties.so your spoilt for choice really, better bring some frozen bait tho,i dont think theres anywhere you can buy bait on the island, nearest tackle shop would be "a shore thing" in westport.there is a shop in achill sound called lavelles (i think) that does a small selection of feathers and lures.
