Anyone know any tackle shops in Dublin that sell yellow shrink tube that would fit an evo1 penn sidewinder. The butt is quite thin so Ive been having a few problems getting shrink tube to fit.

would settle for black so would anyone know if this: http://www.veals.co.uk/acatalog/Veals_C ... g_113.html would do the trick(the shrink tube in the centre of the page). Thanks.

Shrink Tube

Just a word of warning. There appears to be very different quality shrink tube available. I don't know if this is due to manufacturing differences or even difference due to dye (colour). I got black narrow shrink tube from Gerrys of Morecambe a couple of years ago and it was very easy to put on, very professional looking. I got the same diameter tubing but green from a different mail order company and the damn thing was impossible to put on without bubbles. The texture was different but the width and thinkness were identical. If your are going to do a big job test a small bit of tubing on any old handle first to see the finish. Any shrink tube I have received comes in a clear plastic bag with no manufacturing details, presumbly because its cut from big rolls and repackaged by the mail order companies. They all say they never had any one complaining before and it must be how your applying it, ie get a professional to do the job. In my opionon if you get the right tubing its a doddle but if not well....

A longshot for u re yellow shrink tubing.
If u know any E.S.B. linesmen or jointers they should have some for cable jointing. Only drawback is that it has glue inside to seal against moisture and once its on, its on for good!
Been there done it with smaller diameters!

Tightlines.
