Down around Ards Friairy is a known Sea Trout spot in Donegal. Bottom end of the Sheephaven. Don't forget your licence, the Fishery Board does check sometimes.

They can be caught throughout Trawbeaga Bay. The Five Finger Strand near Malin produces good seatrout catches,Kinnego bay and Tremone Bay can also be productive at times. They have also been taken regularly from the south pier at Moville using mack strips on a float. The Loughs Agency issue their own licence(16 GBP or 24 Euro) and they do check. :D Hope this helps.

You need a licence to fish for Sea Trout or Salmon, regardless of fresh or salty water. There's no licence for sea angling provided you're not fishing for Salmon or Sea Trout.

Juristictions are a bit trickier for you, covering 3 areas. Best pop into your local tackle shop for advice there.
