fishing at carrick harbour

hi, does anybody know if there is any fish being caught at carrick harbour yet????

no mackerel
but a few doggies, small codling and a few wrasse were caught on ragworm and 2 herring caught on feathers on tuesday night

Suprised theres no mackerel being caught, plenty being pulled in the other side of the lough at Greys Point. Only problem with Carrick is in a couple of weeks people will be fishing shoulder to shoulder.

no sense of decorum either for people trying to fish on the bottom

Oh dear, I struck a chord there mate. One piece of advice, they don't like to get out of their beds early so fish the early tides chum.
