Lads I'm heading to Renvyle beach in connemara with the family this weekend and I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on what part of the tide and any particular baits are best.Oh ya and is there anywhere safe to bring the kids just incase I get the picture with no sound from herself.All advice will be kept in confidance

renvyle beach is pretty rubbish - unless you can blast it to the horizon with fish baits for a few rare dogs or ray
probably best fished from dusk into dark - when it can pick up a bit more - with smaller fish appearing
the easterly part of the beach is better if you want to scratch for flatfish - but they are rare in the daylight
if you want to entertain the kids it might not be the best option

if you are willing to travel a bit from Renvyle i can give you a few marks that will produce fish

There are a few marks within a short distance of there, A 15 minute or so drive and you can fish Little Killary or lettergesh beach for flounder, turbot and ray. So wouldn't leave the rods at home
