renvyle beach is pretty rubbish - unless you can blast it to the horizon with fish baits for a few rare dogs or ray

probably best fished from dusk into dark - when it can pick up a bit more - with smaller fish appearing

the easterly part of the beach is better if you want to scratch for flatfish - but they are rare in the daylight

if you want to entertain the kids it might not be the best option

thanks for the heads up Frank. Think I might have to leave the rods at home this time.

if you are willing to travel a bit from Renvyle i can give you a few marks that will produce fish

There are a few marks within a short distance of there, A 15 minute or so drive and you can fish Little Killary or lettergesh beach for flounder, turbot and ray. So wouldn't leave the rods at home :)
