Do i have to actually use "peeler" crab (i.e. ones with soft shell) or can i just collect crabs from the shore and remove shell myself. Also advice on baiting up the crab.
thanks in advance.

A peeler crab is a crab where the shell is about to come off (shed) a soft crab is a crab which has lost its shell and the new one is hardening, try and use the peeling ones rather than the soft ones as the pheromones given off by the peeling crab are irresistible to fish
