tips on were to fish in the north in day light

So fare most of my fishing been night time.

Can anyone help on were to go in daylight in the north.

I have been reading about portmuck and glenarm break water has anyone tips on these marks or any other

Portmuck if its overcast from half-tide up to half-tide down. Fish of the pier end casting parallell to the rocks in front to 45 degrees to the left. Baits as per text. Spinning works as well. The rocks at the front of the harbour are cut of at high tide. Havn't heard any reports from Glenarm lately. Red Bay maybe if its sunny.

what is bottom like rough or smooth is it a tackle grave yard. and is it only worth fishing on the tide is low tide out then. also is there a rale to rest rods on or do you need tripod and have you fished it this mnth

If you fish where I said, the bottom is sand with odd rock. I normally use a rag or coat on the harbour wall as a rest. The mark described in the shore marks section is the headland, not the harbour. Bit misleading. To much good trout fishing going on at the moment to bother with sea fishing. (6 trout for 38 lb yesterday at woodford!). Friends who live in Islandmagee are catching ok, but mostly evenings. Will try and get some photos of Portmuck up before weekend.
