Rathlin Island spots?

Tue May 18, 2010 11:30 pm

hi guys,

haven't posted in a good while. myself and a few buddies are planning a trip over to Rathlin island pretty soon, a first for us all. I was wondering does anyone know of any good spots along the island? what kind of fish we can expect ( if we are lucky) and if anyone knows of any good places to set up camp ( apart from behind the bar )

thank you

any help would be much appreciated!

thanks

dave

have seen a few flatties swimming round at the end of the old harbour pier (past the pub) although i think that wee harbour has a head of the hungaryest crabs in the world! have head that good pollack can be caught off the rocks at the souther end of the island (Rue Point) although its a bit of a trek
