Hello Sir , I'm not a local to Dursey but have fished it for a few hrs in september . I'm not great with heights so I didn't venture to the Island via cable car , but we fished from the rocks and the pier by the cable car on the main land there were lots of pollock up to 3/4 lb lots of smaller ones a few wrasse too . The majority of the fish fell to lures such as wedges ,sandeel imitation, german sprats, plugs and Xlayers were killer for the wrasse the fight from them is somethin else on a lure rod from a deep water mark like Dursey.
While we were fishing the pier we noticed alot of Mullett cruising around , I mistook them for Bass for a few moments , they were the biggest mullett I think iv ever seen but they were not one bit interested in the lures .
I hope this info helps catch you at least one fish from there .
PS Im planning a trip back there myself so if you would send me a pm letting me know how it fished for you I'd be greatfull . TIGHT LINES Craigo

just back from fishing Dursey with a couple of guests. We had plenty of pollack to 4lb on both float fished sandeel and spinning jelly worms and Storm sandeels.
Bottom fished some mackerel and had two conger both about 8 lbs apiece with 3 more lost, VERY rough bottom.
Hundreds of mullet about and got two around the 4 lb mark on bread, they were very skittish as there was a basking shark swimming about and although I knew it would not eat them, they didn't!
Brilliant place to fish from april to novembet but like everywhere can have off days.
