mackerel cork?

hi has anyone heard or caught mackerel
in cork yet?

Yes but they're still very patchy don't rely on catching them for bait just yet

i caught two off a charter boat in kinsale last week

Last Tuesday afternoon lads were catching them off the pier at Ballycotton and they seemed plentifull too !!!

Any catches of mackerel in around Dublin

I tried silver feathers for 2 hours this evening in Myrtleville but no sign of any mackers I did manage one small pollock though so at least I came away without a blank :/

with the warm spell now I would think they might start to move in closer to shore

Tried from rocks down near Schull a couple of weeks ago and got two in about two hours.
