How much are German sprats (1 oz) these days? The shops around here (A bit inland) don't have them and i want to stock up, I was wondering if it was worth getting them mail order.

Their tobies are excellent by the way. And everything is post free to Ireland.

I have some of these, these ones are great and are around 20g, I want to get some slightly heavier ones as well though. Definately will get some of euro-tackles tobys and wedges too.
What I was wondering is how much the tackle shops are charging around the coast, it's a while since i bought one and as far as I can remember it was a lot more than the €3 Mactackle are charging now.

Adrian,
Try Doherty's in Donegal Town, always stocks them and he is generally very reasonable when it comes to prices especially in terminal tackle.

Pete,
Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out next time I'm in Donegal town.
I happened to be in Mullaghmore on Friday (beach with the kids), anyway a German sprat cost me €3.90, I headed out to the end of the breaker for a short spinning stint as I caught Pollock there before. I ended up loosing the sprat along with some hokkis when an angling boat (not a trawler) named after a certain mythical sword crossed my line, I couldn't reel it in quick enough when I realized he was going to pass so close to me, I was in full view of him and there was no need to pass so close, what an I&^0£@nt 8@5t@&0  .
