most inventive lures?

i was out lasnight with 2 friends who are total novices to fishing, anyway long story short, one of the lads lost all his lures(a couple of mangled tobys) and all he was left with was a jellyworm, with no lead head, or weight of any discription, so in a moment of sheer genius, he lased on a couple of old keys that he had, just above the worm, and chucked it out(not very far), within seconds he had a nice little 2lb pollack on the rocks!!!! it was the only fish of the evening, and definitely one for the books! i gotta say though, those couple of keys did look quite well in the water, there's loads of disturbance, and noise and flash off them. highly recommended! anyone else ever produce fish on such unorthodox tactics?!

Frodo,
The "Key" to successful fishing????????
A cousin and I fishing Wrasse in Kerry started a competition to see who could catch a wrasse on the most ridiculous "bait!. We took wrasse on Cig butts, a shirt button and a piece of torn red shirt! Those Kerry wrasse are not as smart as the Clare ones! Though I'm not so sure about the Clare Pollock!
I feel another Kerryman joke coming on!
Or maybe an onslaught from the Kerry anglers!
