I had a rattle on the feathers at Bertraw Tuesday and Old Head on Wednesday - but none about, or at least not close to shore. Fished around high tide at both.

There were a few cormorants (or Shags) just offshore out of casting range at Old Head and gulls hovering above them, so there may have been some there, or other small bait fish.

That's exactly where the Cormorants/Shags were.

I might give it another rattle soon.

Aughris head can be good at times, as close to the point as you can get, watch the swells there. If you go North of Sligo, Raghley can be OK also. In general Sligo is a bit hit and miss with the macks. If you want to a better chance head west - I had plenty off Downpatrick head last weekend.
