Anyone know of any good spots around north county dublin to dig for Ragworm

The estuary behind the church in Baldoyle used to be a good spot. Dont know what its like now but it would be worth having a go there.

sutton straight out opposite the school or down at the wooden bridge in dollymount

The mussel bed out at Sutton is about the best, can be hard work at times though. The best worms are to be found in the softer mud. Depends on the kind of fishing you are doing though, a lot of the time, the worms there are far too big for beach fishing. Generally get 2 to 3 baits per worm for beach fishing.
You can also find blow lug here to the right of the mussel beds and they are actually quite high on the foreshore.

The Malahide Estuary on the Donabate side. Park beside The Island golf club and walk about 10 mins to the corner. hard diggin in around the mussel beads but the rag are usually large

For big numbers of rag and crab i would go no further than clontarf or dollymount this is where all the bait diggers go. :shock:
