Not much around there, I'm afraid. I normally try from Carlingford around to Clogherhead and on to Laytown. All pretty quiet, although Laytown can produce good bass. It's probably the least productive piece of coastline in the country!

Try here for ragworm and bass, particularly the rocky bit in the middle or the rocks sticking into the sea at the northern end of the beach: http://www.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s ... 1&t=h&z=15

From the pier here for pollack and mackerel (much too early yet), and around the rocks for wrasse, if the seals have left anything: http://www.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s ... 1&t=h&z=15

He's right! Louth is seen as a crap place for shore angling. I live in clogherhead myself and it can be very hit and miss around this part of louth. Although saying that i havnt but much work and i have a hunch there is good fishing to be found in the areas around. Hopefuly this year i can put some efford into my sea fishing
