Hi Mackrealman. Welcome to the site. Might be a little early for your target species. Good luck though.

Find the main carpark where the ferries come in, drive to the far end where the toilet block is then walk along the coastline for about 10 minutes, you will come to a horseshoe shaped bay. This is the best mark for pollack in Doolin, fish 2 hours each side of high water. Try storm wildeyed sandeels or any black jellies. The pollack didnt start turning up until the end of April last year and the weather is much colder this year.
If you have not fished Doolin before take EXTREME CARE, the whole area is treacherous when there is any kind of wave or swell. Do not fish it alone.
Still not many Bass showing, but if the swells are too much for rock fishing there are plenty of beaches in 10 mile radius of Doolin any one of them could throw up a bass.

Thanks! bait Digger; i'll print out the directions for next week and shop around for the jellies,i was checkin out the the water tempretures and tips from a sea bass fishing association link from this site and the tempretures this year are slightly lower than last year,Spindlefist is fishing there at present and i m looking forward to the results! i wont be going alone i 'll be going with another angler and two guests and its going to be just after the new moon next week so if any time is gonna be a good time its then :) i got some kilty lures (6" shee) silver and green jellies and some 32g silver wedges hope they do the job!
