Killary?

Hi lads

I was thinkin of heading down to Little Killary on saturday has anyone fished the area lately? Is it worth the time and the diesel to drive down. I could just as easily stay in Sligo and blank . Thanks in advance.

fished there about a month ago and there were loads of whiting, and i also had a dab and a couple of doggies!

My advice would be to fish it in the dark . Had thornback,doggie , reasonable whiting and plenty pin whiting . There's also conger to be had and Paddylav had a lovely 3 beard rockling recently

how did you get on?

fished there at weekend. lots of weed on the seabed. took doubles and trebbles of whiting at distance. all small. waste of time

More whiting than the east coast over there on Friday, also loads of weed in the fjord and the beach
