You lucky so and so, I've got a thesis thats going to seriously limit my Courtmac time this summer. You have a rake of options.
Red Strand, Inchydoney Beach, Ring Harbour, Garryvoe Strand, Timoleague and Courtmacsherry all fish well for bass. I know a lot of specific marks and to go through them all would take yonks. I put up a lot of info a while back about Courtmac and if you are going to fish any specific spots, IM me beforehand and I'll give you the scoop. Also theres a shop in Clon called ClonTackle and he might give you some help. But maybe not because hes not the nicest guy!

Hi Brian,
Very early morning or night time after dusk. I find darkness great using Yo-Zuri ZZ pops and Banana Boats. And would you believe I have some for sale at heavily discounted prices!!!
With even bigger discounts for SAI SAC members!!!!

Ring Pier is a great spot. If you're stuck for bait the place is thick with sandeel, and lugworm and ragworm are everywhere in the area. If you stray as far west as Rosscarbery, the mouth of the river (which is on your left as you head towards the pier, or on your right as you head towards the warren) is a good place for bass. Although you can catch bass almost everywhere in the area... I don't know about tides and all that, is Clon Tackle run by the English guy in Spiller's Lane? I thought it was closed down... it used to be the best sea tackle shop in West Cork by a long way imo.
