Hi Guys, I want to go harbour/pier fishing but all i have are mackerel feathers.
I was wondering if i could use the texas rig with a jelly worm to catch anything.??thanks

take the feathers of the hooks and bait up with some mack use some bait elastic to hold mack on hook .
if ya try the jellies near some kelpy ground ya might get something
what pier is it

i only want to use artificial lures, well probbably cork harbour and curraghbinny pier near crosshaven, is church bay ok for the jellys?

i fished currabinny a few times and never even got a bite, ive heard of small conger and doggies from there tho but only on bait.

in most places you will want to bait fish to catch anything at this time of year.
