Too cold for Bass fishing????

Thu Jan 07, 2010 10:47 am

Just a quick thread to all you Bass guru's. I have fished for Bass for 6 years now and still not caught one although I my best mate has had 3 now  (I am happier that we have had some results between us). We are planning a session this weekend. Could someone let me know if it is too cold or is it productive to fish for Bass in such cold temperatures?

Mant thanks guys. Tight lines

when we got 6 on the antrim coast 2 decembers ago and it was -5 that night   . but in saying that the cold snap seemed to send them off shore during our week in co. kerry. but like mitch said, there are a lot of other factors to take into account.
