Just a quick note to anyone thinking of giving Inch Beach in east cork a go over the next few days.
It is covered in tons of heavy weed both in the water and on the shore, its a no go BIG time.
Cheers
Cather.

I had a mate that used his toes to pick things up… beer bottle from the floor … lighter from a table he used his feet for a lot of things, I must add he was a very lazy man,
And I’m holding a fag in my mouth as I type this, I also tried to hold out on the tax man but he caught hold of me,

Useful post
Sadly the other two posters see it as something to poke fun at it.
It would make you wonder why you would bother putting up the post.
At least there are genuine anglers out there who appreciate this kind of post.

Thanks for the post.
Does anyone know if Garryvoe is fishable at low tide at the moment? My club is intending to hold a comp there on Saturday 12th and would appreciate an update from anyone who has fished there in the last week.

There is weed showing up, but it is fishable.

I haven't fished Garryvoe in some time Paul, but from reports of precious comps this year, it is not fishing well.

Can I echo what Donal says because if like me you cannot get out as often as you like a post like that is so useful. If you have to travel a distance to a venue on a night you have cleared and may not get out for another fortnight its dissapointing to have used up your "pass" when you cant even fish! So thanks for that. Have the pass tonight and meeting a few from here in further east so hopefully we will be able to fish.
I wonder would it be an idea to have a conditions report section on the site? Obviously without the specifics of a mark but to pass on info in general terms say east cork beach etc i for one would be happy to give info if i was out and would love to read it when trying o plan a session anyway thanks for the post pat

pat dont be afraid to stick a post in the shore q and a section - most regulars will tell if an area is a mountain of weed!

Thanks for the positive responces
The beach is still un fishable
Anyone know of any east cork beach that is both fishable and producing some fish ?
PM me if you can, it would be very appreciated

Wake up to reality and read the other posts,
Anglers appreciate a post like that.
Comments like yours do nothing to encourage anglers to pass on useful information to other site users.
