looking a little help

hi all :D

new member - and by no means the best speller that every lived :shock: :roll:
wanted to no wate the story is around doneagal bay and winter cod ive never tryed it before and was looking for a push in the right direction i no about bait & rigs ect ive only realy fished in the sumer for pollock - wrass - mack :arrow: so even a little help would go a long way :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :?:

how are things jellyworm and welcome to the site :wink:
i dont know anything about fishing donegal but im sure someone will be along to help out.

as for the spelling dont worry about mistakes we all make them from time to time just enjoy the site and your fishing :wink:

some toolbars have a spell check feature that you can use before you put your post up :wink:

mods. i wonder would it be possible to incorporate a spell checker in the reply/post section :?:

We had a spell checker before, but it was rather clunky and most browsers are beginning to incorporate them
Chrome and Firefox both have spell checkers, or dictionaries that you can install.

hi jellyworm,welcome to the site :D and feck the spelling,we all knew what you asked anyway! afraid i can't help on donegal,from mayo meself! but 3/0 hooks,short snoods and big baits/cocktails work everywhere!

Fast way out of this problem is to drag MS Word to the "taskbar" click on it type in your report there, do your spell check then a "copy and paste" will put you right.

BUT IM SURE THERE IS A DONNAGAL BAY MASTER FISHER OUT THERE SOME WERE THAT COULD SHINE SOME LIGHT :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi Jelly Worm. I have never caught a cod of any size. But any small ones i have caught have been on lug and mack and rag and mack. Try throwing a well baited 2 or 3 hook flapper out medium- long distance. If you can get a clipped down rig this will help keep bait intact and achieve a bit more distance.

As for the spelling mate dont give it a second though. I am sure the people on the site will be able to work out what you mean...
