Im going to take the rods up anyway and see if we can get a spot of decent shore fishing over the weekend! SO if any of you guys have any tips or hints on marks please feel free to drop me a pm!! its near killybegs so i presume there is plenty of fishing action, or on the other hand nill because of those big trawlers!! :P

so if you have any ideas on marks, tackle shops for bait and lures please send them on! also , if anyone has contacts for charter sea angling boats at a reasonable price please send these on also!

Thanks in advance! ;)

Conor.

If you go onto http://www.boat-angling-ireland.com/ (Hope i'm not stepping on anyones toes, if I post this link).

There is a listing of some charter boats for the area.

If you can get to shore marks out past the "New pier" in Killybegs. Have been meaning to go there as I saw some great spots from a charter boat, but I never got there.

This time of year it may be a little difficult to get the fish. Provided the Mullet haven't left yet, Killybegs harbour is full of them at specimen sizes.

The pier in Killybegs is fishing well at the moment, any amount of small stuff with decent macs through them. Fished a set of shrimpers on the lunch break yesterday and had codling, pouting, pollock, coalies, herring and macs
