Any body wishing to see my home port of Kilkeel, “don’t see why” and the people that leave so little fish for us anglers can watch the above named program starting on 27 April and running for 4 weeks or so I have been told…..yes it the dam trawlers and their story of why they kill the bleedin lot, and how hard a life it is, that’s why so few pay Mr Brown what he wants,,,,,thats it I’m out-a here before I blow a fuss

A most interesting show (I saw only the first and last). There's no doubt that it's a tough life and some are struggling,however, the greed is also staggering...
The trawler Voyager had a catch on one trip of 900 tons of mackerel.
They said most were in the 400grm range.
By my reckoning thats about 2,250,000 mackerel.

How long can this be sustained?
