I need some advice on pollan bay

Mon Aug 31, 2009 7:51 pm

Can anyone give me some pointers when fishing this area, I will be fishing it on the weekend 5th-6th Sept. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I had posted this before but under Ballyliffin beach but thanks to google maps I have found it to be pollan bay.

It's a typical storm beach.. if you ever fished Benone/downhill it's fished the same way.flounder rigs but you can up the hook sizes to a 2/0 on one rig if fishing two rods as can turn up the odd suprise. Can be a little hit or miss though and being a strom beach can be unfishable if the weather is wrong. in a case where it's to rough leanin or tullagh beachs even culdaff are not far away. baits are rag/lug sandeel and makeral tip offs.
