Ive been on some weather sites looking at how the weather will be like over the weekend and next week (http://www.met.ie) but i tend to take what these sites with a pinch of salt, can anyone tell me how the weather has been down there recently and how its gonna be in the next week or so?

Have you tried Magicseaweed or Accuweather? Magicseaweed is fairly good - give surf conditions on well known beaches and also animations of the wind directions and strengths over the next few days

He has no excuses :D
K2 and myself have give him alot of information about how to catch them, from what type of rigs to use, baiting up and the best bait to use and how to best store the bait and the importance of tides etc.
We told him about those slug-go lures as well as we have used them and found them good.
I look forward to seeing your report too Johnny, make sure you take lots of pictures, have a good trip.
Tight lines :)
