The best advice I can give you is to go into Landers tackle shop on your way to Dingle in Tralee and buy the book written by Bob Moss titled - "A guide to Shore Angling on the Dingle Peninsula" (second edition). This book is what every angler needs when fishing the Dingle area, it gives you information on marks, where to get various baits and when each mark is best fished with good directions to each place as well.
It only costs around eight - ten euro to buy and is worth every penny.
Good luck on your trip down to Dingle, I don't think you will be disappionted in the fishing it has to offer you. I go fishing down there on a regular basis and it is my opinion (which is allowed) that no-where compares to it in the whole of Ireland for the variety and quality of fishing available.
The one thing I would say to you is bring sandeels and razorfish with you as they are the best baits to use if you want to catch Bass. Fresh lugworm is also very good.
Tight lines and let me know how you get on when you come home.

spending a day on the Owenmore is well worth the time at this time of year. plenty of sea trout and a fair run of salmon. It is a catch and release fishery, fly only and is under fished. It runs into the bay at Cloghane and day tickets are available from Frank Mansell 066 713 9408. If you only want to sea fish as Kerry 1 said get the Bob Moss book and you wont go far wrong.
