ragworm

hi all,new to the site just wanted to know best place to dig for ragworm around bangor??or any local shops that supply????

On the subject: Is rag primarily a movement bait or scent bait? Theres plenty of juice in em. I find I get more hooks ups when I use a bait needle and thread through the whole worm. When I head hook em They thrash about the place but they just get ripped off the hook, is half hooked with some tail left for movement better?

I'd say a bit of both, the movement and the sent all play thier part.

welcome to the site mate, try and get all of the worm along the hook as some fish like the flatties can sit in the bait and suck the worm off if its hanging off a bit, what i try to do is thread one rag on and head hook a half as well to add that bit of movement...
