Fish Little Killary to the southwest of the main Killary. Clean bottom and almost guaranteed ray at this time of year. The main Killary is very deep, very snaggy, and a tackle graveyard.

if you are going to be near clifden i will tell you how to get to my mark which produces ray any time i fish, its a spot you can get ray at most stages of the tide and the only bait you need is a bit of mackerel, most of the ray are 4 to 5lbs biggest i got was 8 lbs,if you are interested in trying it let me know
