just was if the boats at killybegs ever actually put to sea i ask this cos every time i take me wee fella down from tyrone for a run and a spot of mackerel fishin there never seems to be any where to fishoff the piers????

Usually not that bad. Except for when it's stormy out at sea.

If you manage to get a space, it's one of the best places I know for Mullet.

saw a massive mullet get caught there about 3 years ago. over 8lbs i would say.

Dans right. Some big shoals of mullet patrol that harbour. Fish to the right of the boats from the footpath and dont hook a pedestrian.
