any info on where to try
i was advised by kieran not to bother with "the stony pier" or "the cove" or "the herring harbour" - three names for a crap mark on the northern side of the island
so apart from the piers and the beach where else is worth the walk!

looking at the OS map is appears to be mostly rotten bottom or float work outside the main beach
junk leads all the way

looking at osi map i would say bring plenty of floats, crab, and feathers, looks like it could be a good place for wrasse and pollack
i would say you would lose a lot of tackle bottom fishing, looks like there is a lot of cliffs in the north and west, for the south and east travel light as you can because it looks like you will have a lot of walking
best of luck Brian looking forward to your report
