So you thought Mullet were hard to catch.........try photographing them! Snapped these today at Ards as they sped past at 10 knots in the ebbing tide. About 200 came past but only a handful were reasonable size.

Well done on the Mullet. Am heading out tomorrow to see if I can catch my first!

That would be nice but it will be difficult to tell which one is the fish! Having been out again yesterday and watched them swimming under my breaded hook (again) I am under no illusions as to how hard these are to hook. If I can just get them to feed...........

mash up some mackerel guts and bread, i normally use maggots hold on the hook a lot better.
