Its hard to see the lateral line but it looks as if theres a slight curve there & bottom jaw is protruding slightly large eye i'd say pollack...

Size 8 hook little bit of rag photo doesn't show the nice green he was

Well in fairness T it was green!

I thought it looked like a plaice or a poor cod

the colour is also like a pollack, coalies are more of a silvery green/ blue and sometimes greyish.
