i have slight problem lads, one of my rods has a spigot that seems to rattle when the rod is shaken. its one of my favourite rods, but i havent been able to use it due to fear of it snapping mid cast. if i take out a pair of marigolds and really go for it i can tighten the spigot sufficiently for it to not rattle, but its a mare to take out after a session and is not really realistic on a clod wet day. tried candle wax and joint protector, stills seems to have a slight rattle in it. any ideas?

Over time,spigots wear-out and become loose.I've found a little candle-wax does a good job !
