New to Shore Angling

Hi all,
I'm new to shore angling and need a bit of advice.
I've looked up loads of info on various sites and so far I've stayed up until the wee hours tying rigs and practicing knots, have spent a small fortune on tackle in the Navan tackle store which I threw at the trawlers off Clogher Head, and so far I've caught about 20lb of seaweed and 1 good sized rock.
I think I need to fish with more experianced men than myself.
Can anyone tell me of any shore angling clubs in the Louth/Meath area.

thank kcuf i'm not the only one , started outed out after 30 odd yrs away from it , about 3 months ago , then ended up getting knee op 2 mths ago .not moving well

judging by where you are fishing you are doing well did you get any pics of the rock?was it spotted or all one colour give keith a pm i,m sure he will steer you in the right direction i,m south side of the liffey so if you fancy a session over this side just pm me and i,ll let you know when we are going out so you can tag along ,not that we are experts or anything but we do get a few fish
