all rite lads i have finally got the misses persuaded into comin down south with me.i was thinking about headn to courtown beach or around there somewhere.if anyone could help me in the rite direction as to where to fish or wat gear is best suited for that area it would be a great help,or even if anyone fancied meetin up for a session i will be headn down in 3 weeks time.

One piece of advice I would give is to drop in to Courtown Angling beside the Post Office- Joe, Mick and Dave will be able to tell you what is happening around. You could give them a call before you go down to book bait and get info. Contact details etc here

what type of fish you after ?if you Fancy dog,flats,rocklings,than dodds rock or north beach is the spot 3 hook flappers will do. bait at the mo is lug tiped with either maddies or mack.than if you go a bit more up the coast than morriscastle and old bawn will fish the same with some schoolies and the odd good bass there as well as some smoothhound pups.hope this helps and if you want pm or ring the lads in courtown sea angling shop either joe or mick will put you on the right beach on the days Ur down.
