Hi Im looking to get a new beach caster within the €100 range. something sutible for mixed ground. anybody have any suggestions? cheers

Is that just the rod?
I'd look at value for money brands liked Fladen, Ron Thompson, Shakespeare, and see if you can pick up any bargains on higher quality rods like Century, Penn, Zipplex, etc. Personally I would avoid certain brands like Silstar and Jaxon but that's just down to personal experience... others might think they were great!

do you use a fixed spool reel or multiplier? There are lots of great rods out there within your budget, let us know what reel you have and I'll help as best i can,

have a look at the greys grx 5oz 13ft beachcaster on ebay good value for a range of fishing

got the shakespeare salt beach fs 12ft long cast 4oz to 8oz,lovely rod, good for all kinds of fishing,tippy but solid and can haul in the bigger fish no sweat! saying that i do more rock /pier fishing than beach fishing.costs about 80/90 euros
