annestown area waterford

would anyone hav any info on the annestown area i just got all the beach casting gear after years of crawling and climbing cliffs for a fish and went out 4 times in the last two weeks at high tide wit razor/crab and mack and not a bite once is it a bad area or am i jinxed all together or was it the wrong stage of the tide any info appreicated thanks

ain't heard much about annestown myself maybe try a different beach if ain't getting anything or wait for conditions to change. February can be a slow month aswell

Annestown can be hard at the best of times, especially this time of year. Give it a miss until later in the year, I found it fished best on a coming tide 3 hours up and 1 down with a good surf.

Head for Cheekpoint, Passage or anywhere else in the estuary at the mo there's plenty to keep you busy there.
